CPS 271 - Thanks so very much!
Ok, I know you will get tired of all the Thank you cards, but I must concentrate on these, I can't go out and buy them, that would be terrible!! LOL This card is from the weekly sketch at Card Positioning Systems. I made the sketch my own because I wanted to use this thank you sentiment and it would cover too much of the circles, so I added the ribbon. The stamps on the circles are from WaltzingMouse Stamps set Dainty Doilies -large set. The sentiment is from a CTMH set called Celebration. I used CTMH Daydream papers and the ribbon is from CTMH too.

Unscripted Sketch #164 - Thanks for Everything
Thank you notes are coming out everywhere! Since the girls graduated a week and a half ago, I have been doing a couple cards a day for them to mail out, soon!! This one I used the sketch from Unscripted Sketches. The stamps are from two different Close To My Heart sets - Celebration and Sensational Seals. The papers are some scraps I had and I used Diamond Stickles around the scalloped circle. The ribbon is some Offray that I got at Michael's!

A little monster birthday and Deconstructed sketch # 54
Today we are celebrating the two little boys' birthdays. Lincoln is one and Trip is 5 all within a week of each other. I found this stamp set at Michael's of some monsters by Recollections and had to have it. I used Colorbox bright papers and Maraschino Red bakers twine from Ribbon Carousel. Will have two more monster cards to upload, since I used them to make all 3 boys' Birthday cards!!!

Graduation card - Unscripted Sketches
Lots of the girls' friends are graduating from high school - oh yeah, so are my two - so I am working on graduation cards when I have a few minutes between my normal schedule, still having the sickness hanging on and getting the girls' graduation announcements and party invitations done!!
I used the sketch this week from Unscripted Sketches. I went to the storage unit with my friend Kevin and got to touch all of Katie's stamps and found this set Back in the Saddle from WaltzingMouse Stamps. I used some lavendar papers and some Making Memories Sweets black and white flowers to add to it.

Unscripted Sketch Guest Designer
I was honored to be asked to be a guest designer for this week's sketch at Unscripted Sketches. I used a new stamp from Whimsey Stamps Wee Stamps Collection Dandelion Girl. She is so sweet. I used Close to my Heart inks (sand, lilac mist and sweet leaf) to paint her with my waterbrush. I used CTMH Daydream papers and some Martha Stewart glitter and then I added FlowerSoft white to the dandelion seeds blowing away.
The paper flowers were my actual first attempt to make them. I cut scalloped circles of the daydream papers, then cut them in a spiral and rolled them. I was pretty impressed with them for the first try!! The one I had to add some bling to, but I was still happy with them!

An end to Fastpitch and Cottonwood trees!
The last week has been filled with a little sadness and alot of allergies. Last Friday, my girls played their last game of fastpitch for their high school team. They started their season playing 2nd and 3rd bases, but due to the pitcher getting hurt, they moved Cis to pitching. Her first game of pitching, the catcher got hurt and so Catie became catcher for the rest of the season.
Cissy Pitching!
Catie Catching!
Catie is hitting and Cis is on deck!
They didn't make it to Districts this year, but they had some fun playing and the team did awesome.
Last weekend, after a few days of warm sunshine, the cottonwood trees started popping open and blowing cotton, which makes my allergies explode. So I have done nothing but try to sleep when I am not coughing or blowing my nose. Makes it hard to get anything done around the house, let alone in my craft room. I did get a great present today, I won a Xyron pack from Ali Edwards website on a share she had with Xyron. I got a 5"Creative Station, a sticker maker, a tape runner, a mega tape runner and a glue stick that has an edge for corners!!

Deconstructed Sketch #50
Deconstructing Jen's sketch this week was a neat one. I used some stamps I have (Can't remember whose they are and there are no names on them) with CTMH Sweet Leaf, Garden Green and Sand Inks. The papers are from a set from CTMH and I used Cappuccino Bakers Twine from Ribbon Carousel.

Crazy 4 Challenges - My little girl!!
I love this stamp!!! It reminds me of my little girl, the youngest (by 20 minutes) who finally got her biggest wish she has ever had, a horse!! At Crazy 4 Challenges the challenge was to paper piece. I just got this stamp, Good Pony
from Whimsey Stamps. I paper pieced her hat, kerchief, pocket, jeans, part of the saddle and the mane. I used CTMH More to Adore paper for the background, the star stickers are from a Debbie Mumm sticker set, and the Chocolate Bakers Twine from Ribbon Carousel. Yes, the boots are a crazy color, but they match the color of Cissy's cowboy boots and the pony is about the same color as Copper, Cis' horse!!
Unscripted Sketch 156
I sat down yesterday and worked on some cards, I haven't had much time this week to do anything in the craft room, but I finished this card for Unscripted Sketches challenge.
I used a Close To My Heart stamp set called With Love and CTMH Sweet Leaf ink. I used CTMH Caboodle papers to set the stamped images. I could not find a stamp in my 1000's that said Bloom, so I went through all my alphabet stickers and found these Alphabitties by Provo Craft. I added some light pink ribbon just to give it more umph!!

The Spectacular Spectacles Challenge!!
Ah, spectacular!!! At one of my favorite blogs, Moxie Fab World one of the challenges was Spectacular Spectacles. I knew I had some spectacles somewhere, so I found the three I had. The two cat eye ones were from Designs Ink'd and the round one is from Hearts IN Touch Collage It set. The sentiment is from CTMH Celebration set and I used three Black Jewel candy dots by Pebbles, Inc. Finished it off with some dot ribbon.

Card Positioning Systems
Card Positioning Systems sketch challenge was sponsored this week by My Favorite Things and since I have a few of their stamps and a few borrowed from Katie Renz's stash, I use MFT Pure Innocence Heart Stripes. I cut her out using my nestabilities and added some Spring paper stack papers and some Bazzill papers! I love this stamp and I tend to use it alot!!

A challenge card and another rainy day. . .
After a beautiful weekend and Monday, we have had nothing but rain and gloom!! Seriously, I think the 3 days of sun was our spring!! We will probably see sun again around July for about three days!! I spent the weekend relaxing and de-stressing, I played a little in the craft room but mainly did nothing!! I worked on a few cards, including this one for the Our Creative Corner challenge. They wanted us to take this image and use it as inspiration for our card.
I had some alcohol ink backgrounds that I had played with, so I stamped a butterfly image from Hearts IN Touch and cut it out and found some color matching papers to make it blend together and use Making Memories rub on alphabet for the sentiment.

Unscripted Sketch #155 - Use something Recycled!
At Unscripted Sketches their piggy back challenge was to use something recycled with the sketch. In looking at the sketch, and looking at all my embellishments, I decided to use a button from my button box. My button box was given to me years ago by my mom and she loaded it with new and used buttons. this one still had the brown thread on it!!
I used a SU Fence stamp for the image and the sentiment is from CTMH set Dainty. I used the Cuttlebug distressed stripes for the brown.

Crazy 4 Challenges
Minnie!!!! I love my Disney stamps and Disney and Disneyland and pretty much anything Disney! I needed to make a Minnie card and when Crazy 4 Challenges wanted black cardstock to make your card pop, it was just what I could do!! I used some Disney paper and also the red and white dot from Echo Park's Dots and Stripes Metropolitan Collection. I have a bunch of the black cards that open in the middle so I used one of those. I also put white dots on Minnie's dress and bow!!
