Caardvarks Color challenge June 20, 2008 PINK!!!

This was easy as I have been making alot of 'PINK' cards, so here is my card for the challenge at Caardvarks. I got the image in some goodies from my SISTAH Nicola last month. The stamp is Sugar Nellie Lola with flowers, I love these stamps-gotta get me some.

Red White and Blue Stamp Something

On the blog, Stamp Something Stamp Something Friday's challenge was to stamp something red white and blue, so here is my banner. Picture is terrible, so I individually scanned each triangle. Enjoy. p.s. if you click on the picture of the whole banner it will be a little bigger.

The 4th of July is my family's favorite holiday-yes, we have more fun than on Christmas!! We used to all get together at my parent's but since Dad passed away in 2004 and Mom on July 3, 2005, we have spent it at my nephew Jason and his wife Kristy's. They are the parents of my two favorite little boys that I take care of, Landon and Calvin. We have a great time and blow up alot of fireworks. We honor our parents WWII service to our country and our dads love of the 4th and fireworks. He had a blast watching us all shooting our fireworks. So, Happy 4th everyone!!

Gayle's Blog Candy

MY Sistah Gayle was offering some blog candy, so I played and I received the goodies yesterday. Part of the blog candy win was to make something and post to our blogs, so here is mine. The little girl reminded me of the girls wearing my mom's high heeled shoes that she had kept from the 1940's so in honor of that the purse is purple. The elephant one was fun and then the piggies, I just had to make a shower curtain with fuzzies on the sides!!

The Last of the Purple Cards!!

The last of the purple cards - they were delivered to my cousin last weekend when we all were at the family picnic!! Yeah!!!!

My girls are headed to High School!!!!!!!!!!!

Last night was the 8th grade graduation/celebration at Shuksan and these are my beauties!!! Catie, who has not worn a dress since 3rd grade or anything that might resemble being girly, actually asked for a dress. So, here they are!! Catie is wearing the black and silver, Cissy the white!!! And Keith and I made these pretty things!!! hehehe

We are very proud of them - even tho' today they shrink wrapped their AVID teachers car!!!!!!lol

Here are three cards I made using the pink and chocolate colors again.

Here is a card I made (actually 10 of them) for invites for my Close To My Heart party in a couple weeks. The paper is CTMH and so is the stamp.

Splitcoast had a couple challenges I did. The duck with the red, yellow and blue was from the Inspiration challenge. It was Movie dresses and they had Snow White, so of course I did Snow White's colors. The other two were from a card sketch for today. It was posted early and I did them late last night.
