Stamp Something Sketch Challenge 6/19/09

Stamp Something had another challenge last week to use black, white and one other color. I am late in posting this so I didn't make the challenge, but I used an old car stamp from Great Impressions that I got at Stampadoodle. Keith's favorite color is Competition orange so of course his Father's Day card had to have orange.

There She Goes Sketch

Last week on the There She Goes blog Jessica posted a sketch challenge using Inspiration from Belmont Home Decor. I used the set called Bloomfield. I used images from the set Nature of Friendship. I used parchment, chocolate and garden green cardstock, garden green and olive inks from CTMH to make my card.

Stamp Something Sketch Challenge 6/12/09

Stamp Something's challenge was a sketch this last Friday. I decided to kind of flip the sketch to use a new stamp that I just had to have :) The stamp is from Great Impressions Stamps and was part of the stamps they used to go with the April Stamp of the Month. Stamp Katie and I saw it at our local stamp store Stampadoodle and they were out, but I needed it, so I ordered it. I thought it would be the most awesome to use Sweetpea Flower Soft on. The flowers are not colored in, but have the flower soft on them. I used some scrap blue and the red from DCWV spring cardstock stack and the stripe is from Making Memories Fresh Anthology Collection -Eliza. The ribbon is one from Michael's.

Clear Dollar Stamps Color Challenge 6-12-09

Clear Dollar Stamps Collar challenge on Friday was to use Stampin Up Colors, which I don't have, so I scoured the paper stacks for the blue and yellow to match. I used Charliene April Showers which I think is so cute.

Stamp Something Challenge

Stamp Something's challenge this week was Something Old, Something New. It was to make something wedding theme. I love this stamp and needed to make a card for our friend Brandi anyway so I used this challenge to get it done. The cherish clear tag and the flower eyelets are from Close to My Heart (thanks Katie). The punch is from Martha Stewart.

Blue Hummer

I love hummers (aka Hummingbirds) I wish there were more around my house. I made this card using this set from Clear Dollar Stamps. I love Lori's stamps - they are awesome. The crochet flower were some my sil had so I got them from her at the family garage sale to use on my cards.

TSG Black, white and one other color

I love my few stamps I have from There She Goes and since I am so late reading some blogs, Jessica had a Release Challenge to use black, white and one other color, so here is the one I did. I love this saying from the stamp set Nature of Friendship. I could just use it over and over. I found this ribbon on a trip to Michael's with my friend Stamp Katie on Monday and I love it.

Slow and Steady

This is one of my newest sets from There She Goes. This set went MIA a couple weeks ago, but I found it hiding in some papers!!! I was so sure that the cat carried it off!! The background paper is some from the Debbie Mumm papers I got a while back. I just love this paper!!

Clear Dollar Stamps Weekend Challenge 5/8/09

CLear Dollar Stamps Weekend Color challenge was to use Riding Hood Red, Certainly Celery and Blush Blossom. I found a darker red in my plain colors and then Garden Green and Parchment from my CTMH papers. I used the cute little pig from Farm Critters from Clear Dollar Stamps and watercolor pencil'd.

No Bull-oney11

Here is another card I have finished lately. It is really funny that it takes me days to finish one card! I guess I am just that busy!! LOL Ok, busy driving kids around and watching babies. This cute little cow is from Clear Dollar Stamps and is from the set Farm Critters. I used my nesties to frame the cow and I love the No Bull-oney stamp!!

A New Baby Card

My friend, Stamp Katie and I got the new baby stamps that Pink Cat Studio released from Mandy at Limelight Papercrafts. I got Dress Up Sweet Pea and Katie got Sweet Pea. This is the first card I made using this set. I love the bumble bee. Katie has a card she made about halfway down her site, you can see it by clicking Stamp Katie above.

Landon will be 5!!!

My nephew who I have taken care of since he was 3 months old is turning 5 on Sat. This is a big milestone for him as it means kindergarten in the fall. It will be a turning point for me as he and I are pretty close, he named me Nee Nee when he was little and that name has stuck. I AM THE NEE NEE!! Ok, yes I am proud of that title, it is pretty close in my heart to being the mommy to my girls. He is having a friends party at this place in town where they have the bouncy houses and jumpy things! LOL I have not been there yet, so I am not sure what it is all about. He picked out these two stamps from a set by Sandy Lion that I got at Michael's a while back and we used it to make his invitations. I added the balloons from a set by Close to My Heart.

A little Coopy!!

I made this card for a friend who just had surgery and I know is feeling cooped up. I used stamps from Clear Dollar Stamps called Farm Critters. I just love this hen and it goes great with the egg paper which is from Debbie Mumm's Nursery Rhyme papers.
