Stamp Something's Challenge

A few weeks back Stamp Something's challenge was For the Birds and I won a stamp set from There She Goes called Home Is Where the Heart Is. So, for this weeks challenge at Stamp Something, I used the set I won.

It was fun to color in and make it look like my house!!!

Lori WIlson at Clearly Delightful blog has a sketch up with some blog candy. She designs stamps for Clear Dollar Stamps.

I used my Charlie Horse stamp - which I love!! and CTMH Sarsparilla papers.

P.S. It took me three different times to upload this - the reason is that little Calvie guy - he likes buttons and 'accidentally' pulled the plug on the computer!! lol

More Crop Stop Fun

One of the Grand Opening Challenges was A Pocketful of Posies at Crop Stop was to make a Pocket card with tags, so I did.

If you want to see what all the challenges were, go to Crop Stop and check out their message board. It was a fun weekend and luckily some of the challenges are not due until the 9th so I can work on them more.

Cropstop's Grand Opening

This past weekend Crop Stop had a Grand Opening Crop party. While I was in and out all weekend, had my CTMH stamp club here at my house, had to make homemade bean soup for the dh (requested on Sunday morning about 10 am so I had none of the stuff so a trip to the store for dinner by 5 pm) I actually got to play. So here is a challenge called Plant 3 Seeds.

I am a great great Aunt

My first great great came into the world this morning about 6:15 - Miss Kayla made her appearance!! Baby and mommy are doing great and I can't wait to see them this afternoon. My niece, who is the grandma, called about 7:30 this morning to let me know. Of course I called my brother and rubbed in the great grandpa bit! lol

Stamp Something's challenge yesterday was Something for the Birds!! I love this set, so while I was getting some black brads yesterday (ok, who runs out of black brads!! lol) I saw this again and said I need it!! So, here is my card for the challenge.

Stamp Something Challenge 10/17

Stamp Something's sketch for last Friday was this one. After spending days creating the 'boat' cards, I got out my new Close To My Heart Set, Treasure Life, which was September's set of the month. I love the greens and the Hollyhock colors, so I pulled them out and here is my card.

Sheetload of Cards for October

Here is a close up of one of the cards I made. It was from October's Sheetload of Cards I really like using their sketches and ideas. With the two new babies in the family coming (one in the next few days and one in February-both girls) I figured everyone will need girl cards.

Boxes and Cards

This is what I was working on last week. I just recently got the Scor-Pal and so I made some boxes and cards to go with them. I really like having the Scor-Pal. My friend Stamp-Katie has had hers for a while and I really was envious of it so when Diana was at our lss and Katie, Tina and I went, I got it (told dh it was my birthday present!!) Some of the cards are using the sketch from Sheetload of Cards October edition.

Baby Kayla's Thank You Notes

I am trying to use my camera instead of my scanner so bear with me!! lol These are the Thank you cards I made for my awesome niece Amanda who is due in the next few days with my great great niece Kayla.

Feeling REALLY fenced in!!

I did this card a week or so ago but then got sick. I haven't been on the computer hardly all week and have not even been in my craft room!! So, I realized I hadn't scanned some cards and this one is how I am feeling so it works great. I haven't left my house in 6 days and that was for a Dr.'s appt. Hopefully soon I will be back among the living and able to play more.
