Favorite Image Swap Hearts In Touch

These are the two cards I made for the Hearts In Touch Favorite Image card swap.

ADDITION: I have been asked how I did the ovals!!! Well, I have a Cricut, so I made two different sized ovals, then on the larger one I traced the smaller and then used actual scallop scissors and cut the edge!! So, half old school and half new school!!

My cousin emailed me-she also stamps and scrapbooks- on Monday!! Could you do 6 Thank you cards for me. Ok, no problems. She has a 7 yr old boy and is just as busy as I am with baseball and other crazy stuff. Well, thinking she needed them this week, I did them Monday night and finished them last night. Talked to her last night, oh no, in a week or two she needs them!! heheehe!! Hi Catherine!!! So, here they are!!!

My First Inchies

Inchies- 1 x 1 inch pieces of artwork have been around for a while and I have never done any. So, I ordered a kit from Debbie's Die Cuts and experimented the other night.

Little Calvin's 1st birthday is next month, so I asked if I could make invites. I love this new set I got from Close To My Heart. I only did 26 of them.

This is a card I did last week. I love my old lady rocker and I found this wonderful sentiment!!!

Here are some more new cards. I love this little duck and pool. It is two stamps- I had to use a masking technique to do this and it took forever for me to figure out.

These are cards I have done this week using a card sketch and a technique challenge from Splitcoast. I love the sketch with the circle in the middle. These were fun. The other two were to use your cuttlebug folder with ink on it for the background. I think they turned out cool.

The Most Wonderful Daddy!!

Today is the fourth year anniversary of my dad's passing. He was a wonderful Dad!! A WWII veteran who worked with all veterans in our community helping them get pensions and to work through their demons. He was a wonderful grandfather whose grandkids could do no wrong!! He taught my siblings and I to work hard, dream, respect others, stand up for our flag and country, support our soldiers and to be honest!! I still am very lonely for my dad - It is a loneliness that sometimes overtakes my heart!!

Been getting lots done

I got alot done this week, 5 scrapbook pages for Disney books and a few cards. I just haven't had much time to upload them here and tonight for some reason I can not upload anything so I guess you will all have to wait. We had a decent weekend so worked outside, got some wood for next winter and cleaned the flower beds and mowed the yard.

I want to name my blog!!!

I want to name my blog different than Beckys Crafts. Any suggestions?? There might be a goodie in it for ya'!!!

Here are two cards I have done. I really like the pocket cards and want to make more. This one uses HeartsInTouch stamps. The blue on is using a StampinUp stamp I haven't used in forever

IPhone Birthday Card

Now, I know my nephew will not be on my blog, so his wife asked me to make a card like an IPhone. He is getting one for his birthday so I tried!!! Used alot of different colored inks and some embossing, but here it is.

My online friend Paula just got a new grandson, so I made the little boy card to mail to her. Frances at Hearts in Touch also posted a challenge to use stamps from different sheets of hers, so I made two. I have been making many Thank you cards for all who are helping send my kids on their Science field trip. A mini vacation in May for me!! hehehe

THese are two cards I made with my new stamp from My Favorite Things ( www.mftstamps.com) I love them. The dog reminds me of our 2 year old, Lily the ornery yellow lab!!
