I love hummers (aka Hummingbirds) I wish there were more around my house. I made this card using this set from Clear Dollar Stamps. I love Lori's stamps - they are awesome. The crochet flower were some my sil had so I got them from her at the family garage sale to use on my cards.

TSG Black, white and one other color

I love my few stamps I have from There She Goes and since I am so late reading some blogs, Jessica had a Release Challenge to use black, white and one other color, so here is the one I did. I love this saying from the stamp set Nature of Friendship. I could just use it over and over. I found this ribbon on a trip to Michael's with my friend Stamp Katie on Monday and I love it.

Slow and Steady

This is one of my newest sets from There She Goes. This set went MIA a couple weeks ago, but I found it hiding in some papers!!! I was so sure that the cat carried it off!! The background paper is some from the Debbie Mumm papers I got a while back. I just love this paper!!

Clear Dollar Stamps Weekend Challenge 5/8/09

CLear Dollar Stamps Weekend Color challenge was to use Riding Hood Red, Certainly Celery and Blush Blossom. I found a darker red in my plain colors and then Garden Green and Parchment from my CTMH papers. I used the cute little pig from Farm Critters from Clear Dollar Stamps and watercolor pencil'd.

No Bull-oney11

Here is another card I have finished lately. It is really funny that it takes me days to finish one card! I guess I am just that busy!! LOL Ok, busy driving kids around and watching babies. This cute little cow is from Clear Dollar Stamps and is from the set Farm Critters. I used my nesties to frame the cow and I love the No Bull-oney stamp!!

A New Baby Card

My friend, Stamp Katie and I got the new baby stamps that Pink Cat Studio released from Mandy at Limelight Papercrafts. I got Dress Up Sweet Pea and Katie got Sweet Pea. This is the first card I made using this set. I love the bumble bee. Katie has a card she made about halfway down her site, you can see it by clicking Stamp Katie above.

Landon will be 5!!!

My nephew who I have taken care of since he was 3 months old is turning 5 on Sat. This is a big milestone for him as it means kindergarten in the fall. It will be a turning point for me as he and I are pretty close, he named me Nee Nee when he was little and that name has stuck. I AM THE NEE NEE!! Ok, yes I am proud of that title, it is pretty close in my heart to being the mommy to my girls. He is having a friends party at this place in town where they have the bouncy houses and jumpy things! LOL I have not been there yet, so I am not sure what it is all about. He picked out these two stamps from a set by Sandy Lion that I got at Michael's a while back and we used it to make his invitations. I added the balloons from a set by Close to My Heart.

A little Coopy!!

I made this card for a friend who just had surgery and I know is feeling cooped up. I used stamps from Clear Dollar Stamps called Farm Critters. I just love this hen and it goes great with the egg paper which is from Debbie Mumm's Nursery Rhyme papers.

Charliene and the Fence

I love this new Charliene and the fence stamp from Clear Dollar Stamps. I stamped the fence and then used a mask on Charliene's bottom half and stamped her waving over the fence. I also used the colors for Clear Dollar challenge on Paper Craft Challenge. I was late, but I at least got one done! LOL

Finally a card

I have finally gotten something done and loaded!! This card is using a set from There She Goes called Nature of Friendship. This was released in March and is an awesome set. I love it as there are 25 stamps in it.

Am I really a slacker??????

OK, i have this friend, who shall remain nameless, but you can view her awesome work HERE!!! who called me a slacker??? (Ok, it is Katie, haha go look at what she has done lately!!)

OK, I guess I have been. It has been three weeks since a post. Well, I got sick and then, on the 27th until yesterday, I got to have the fun of my two nephews, Landon who is almost 5 and Calvie who is almost two (Both next month), spending the week with me. 24/7!! I have the boys during the week, but mommy is usually here by 5 pm to pick them up. So, between having a cough that kept me awake, the boys, my girls and their fast pitch schedule and then baby Kayla three days, I haven't posted a thing, I have worked on about three cards, but my camera is full and needs to be downloaded but I need Cissy to do it as I did a video of Kayla talking.

I actually slept in until 7:30 this morning and plan on working on some cards today - my brother retired this past week and we are getting together tomorrow to celebrate this. I have decided that I am not old enough to have a brother who is retired!! LOL It is a good thing it is in job only because he is the world's oldest teenager!!!

Stamp Something Challenge using green

I was asked to make some invitations for a wedding shower and this is what I came up with. It is using sage green as that is one of her colors. I decided it would work for Stamp Somethings

Since I haven't done anything in weeks due to re adjusting to having a baby four days a week- it is wonderful, she is a happy girl and I am treasuring every second just like with the boys - and also the girls having fast pitch practice 6 days a week- games start next week - I decided to share what Cissy is doing. She is making a scrapbook for one of her classes about her and her personality. This kid is a hoot!! She has the goofiest sense of humor and has fun. So here are her first two pages.

Not much cardmaking going on here

I haven't been doing much card making or crafts, this is one of the reasons why, Baby Kayla. She is my great great niece who is 4 months old and while her Granma's shoulder heals, she gets to come play with the boys and me.
